Dream Kashiwajima Tour, a Macro Treasure Trove!!

, this is Miman.
I just returned from the Kashiwajima tour, and the lingering memories are still strong; it was such a wonderful trip.
So, for the next few days, I'll be sharing plenty of details from the tour!
This tour was organized based on a request!
It's Mei's presentation with Miman.
We caught an early flight to maximize our sightseeing, YO!
Just before the tour, a typhoon was meandering, and I was worried it might be bad...
But it was super clear and sunny!
The weather was perfect for looking down at a crystal-clear Mt. Fuji from the plane!
Even the flight attendant said, "You rarely see Mt. Fuji this clear!"
The flight to Kochi Airport was a quick 1.5 hours.
Upon arrival, local specialties greeted us immediately.
I love stuff like this.
Kochi Ryoma Airport, my first time landing here.
As the name suggests, it's the birthplace of Sakamoto Ryoma.
My excitement for my first time in Shikoku was unstoppable!
We got in the rental car and headed straight to pay our respects.
This is the beach Ryoma visited as a child, where he dreamed of going abroad.
The atmosphere gives you a real sense of the Japanese sea.
And then we met him
Oh, wow! Oh. It was bigger than I thought, haha.
Actually, it's a secret that I had somehow imagined it to be small enough to put my arm around its shoulder 🤫w
And I thought it was on the beach.
Ryoma-san, Japan is at peace.
Katsurahama beach is a panoramic view, so we snapped a shot.
Weekdays are the best! Not too many people, just right.
It's about time we got hungry.
Next, the group headed towards...
Of course, we had to eat!
Lunch at Hirome Market!
Eating seared bonito with salt!
It's truly delicious with no fishy smell!
Everyone got what they liked and filled their bellies 😋
With our stomachs settled, the sightseeing continues!

Niyodo River (Niyodo Blue) is famous nationwide for its exceptional clarity.
This spot, Niko Fuchi, is a popular attraction.
Depending on the light, it shows emerald green or clear blue.
The blue color and the waterfall, rich in negative ions, are mesmerizing to watch forever.
We all took a picture together. It was so beautiful because the weather was great.
You definitely have to visit this place! It was truly wonderful.
Well. As we drove, the sun began to set completely.
Dinner time!
We'll have dinner before entering Kashiwajima.
Here it is! All about Katsuo!
By the way. When you usually eat Katsuo, don't you use ginger?
In Kochi, it's not grated garlic, nor ginger,
They eat it with sliced garlic. 😳
The restaurant Mei found was a hit! And the sweet sashimi soy sauce, which I personally love, was amazing.
At a restaurant where everything is delicious,
Everyone's spirits lift, right?
Then, everyone was surprised by the fried river shrimp! 😳
Oh. It's blurry lol but look at this size!
It's not tiny shrimp! It's practically regular shrimp size lol
Everyone was so surprised by the giant freshwater prawns that they created a "giant freshwater prawn" pose 🤣
Later, I found out that long-armed prawns are famous in the Shimanto River and Niyodo River!
Good thing we ate them, everyone, lol.
Bellies full and having a blast from day one!
After an hour's drive, we finally arrived at our destination, Kashiwajima.
Diving finally starts tomorrow!
