Good news!
After last week's typhoon passed, the visibility in Izu's waters has become incredibly clear!
On Tuesday, the day after the three-day weekend, I went to Fukuura on the Manazuru Peninsula.
Since there were only a few of us that day
we had an easy dive using a DPV
I found a leaf-like fish called a Leaf Scorpionfish! The guest had a hard time spotting it though...
This baby wrasse didn't burrow into the sand even when approached, so I was able to get a good shot of it
If you go a little further, you can see a school of Bannerfish
The water temperature is high and the visibility is excellent, it's like a tropical sea!
Of course, it can't compare to the schools of fish in yesterday's Ogasawara blog...
The two legends reaffirmed the charm of Manazuru's waters
For lunch, I challenged the "Big Kakiage Don" for the first time in a while, but I was completely defeated...
It looks like the temperature will drop starting next week
The water is still warm, but drysuits might be more comfortable soon...
