We went on a fall Ogasawara tour! Part 1
Howdy, everyone! 👋👋
We successfully held the "Ogasawara Tour" in between Typhoons 22 and 23.
Personally, it was my first time in Ogasawara during the warm season in about 15 years of visiting (lol).
Although we were able to depart safely, the typhoon's swells still remained,
so there aren't many photos from the journey this time 😢
As we approached Chichijima, brown boobies greeted us 🐧
Unlike in winter, we also saw them diving into the sea near the boat to hunt! ♪
Upon arrival, we quickly prepared and headed to the sea 🛥️
The weather around Chichijima was fantastic, showing no signs of the typhoon 🌞

As for what the sea was like,
the Ogasawara endemic species, the Ogasawara butterflyfish, were scurrying around in pairs everywhere 💕
We also saw cabbage coral in various places.
Although their numbers were slightly reduced by the typhoon swells, we spent some time playing with schools of batfish,
and we chased after green sea turtles almost every day!
The vibrant schools of manybar soldierfish and sawtooth perch delighted us in various locations. 
The best part of this trip was encountering Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins underwater!
Everyone was super excited because we'd missed them during the dolphin swim right before!
They appeared so suddenly, I was really flustered! 💦💦
I wonder if they came to say hello, like, "Oh, there are divers here"?
It was great that all the members got to see them well~
