Current Izu information
The water temperature might be lower than usual for this time of year! Is this because the Kuroshio Current's meander has ended?!
Current water temperature: 15-16℃
For several years, the bottom temperature in Izu had been a relatively high 16℃,
but lately, it's often dropped to 14-15℃
Miiman's current drysuit undersuit
In addition to the TUSA BODYX drysuit undersuit (top and bottom),
leg warmers and heat packs on my back and stomach.
I also put adhesive heat packs on my feet.
This is my gear for water temperatures up to 15℃.
If the temperature drops to 14℃, I add another full set of specialized undersuits to this setup.
And of course! I equip a 6.5mm hood & winter gloves
When wearing undersuits, everyone
Instead of adding more undersuits when you're cold, it's better to equip yourself to prevent getting cold in the first place!
It's much harder to raise your body temperature once you're cold.
Because if you feel cold once you're in the water
, you won't be able to concentrate on your diving.
Of course, there's some stress from increased weight, etc.,
but if you switch to undersuits specifically designed for diving, the bulkiness and restricted movement are resolved
