One trouble after another?! Giant Creatures of Hokkaido Shakotan Tour: Steller Sea Lions & Giant Pacific Octopuses! ~Day 1~

Good evening everyone! It's Mei ('◇')ゞ The diving work, this time the ship was super intense... I fell asleep after getting home 💦 It's late, but I'm bringing you day 1 of the Shakotan tour today! *I'm also using a lot of photos provided by those who participated! We gathered at Haneda Airport Terminal 2 at 7 AM. Then we took off on the 8:00 AM flight to Shin-Chitose! They said, "In case we can't land, we'll turn back," but everyone thought it would be fine... After takeoff, I dozed off, and when I opened my eyes, the MAP was in the lower right corner of the screen. lol Everyone whispered, "Huh? Aren't we turning back?" "The destination changed from Haneda to Haneda lololol." Then an announcement finally came. To put it simply, "We tried to take off, but the snow removal in Chitose wasn't ready, and it was snowing a lot, so it was impossible!" That's how we ended up back at Haneda (￣▽￣;) We looked into a lot of things, but air travel was impossible, so for now, we left Haneda and arrived at Shinagawa, where you can go anywhere! Here, Tats-san ran to the Midori no Madoguchi (ticket office) and managed to get us to Sapporo by land today! It's going to be a tough journey, but if we can go, let's go! So to Tokyo Station! The reason it was tough was because it was crowded, so we stood for about an hour and a half until Sendai ( ；∀；) After that, we had seats, so it was very comfortable! (Seats were scattered, so not many photos) About 6 and a half hours after deciding to change to land travel at Shinagawa!! We came to Hokkaido through the Seikan Tunnel (I was asleep, so I didn't realize it)! "Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station," which we probably wouldn't visit on a normal trip. The connecting train to Sapporo was also delayed, so we took a break ♪ (Here, Amy, who realized she forgot her ticket, was in a long line 😢 Glad it worked out!) Since I don't drink, I wandered outside out of boredom. Then (This is Sori's photo) What's that strange thing on the post?! It was Hokuto City's official character, Zushihokki-chan. Hmm. Those indescribable eyes are good. And those exquisitely slender limbs. Creepy. lol While doing this and that, an announcement came that Hokuto 19 would arrive in a few minutes, so we moved, and since everyone wasn't there before, we took a photo on the platform. lol After getting on, we had some drinks and snacks (I was sound asleep). Three hours on Hokuto 19... After more than 13 grueling hours!! We finally set foot in Sapporo! It was long... Thank you all for your hard work! Well, we still have about 2 hours to drive from here to Shakotan (￣▽￣;) Since there's nothing in Shakotan, we stopped at MEGA Don Quijote for some shopping! We bought a lot, but the food made locally was so delicious that the snacks and nibbles didn't decrease... And we didn't have enough alcohol!!! The reason must be a miscalculation of "number of people who drink × time they drink × amount everyone can drink =". It was gone by the second night, so only one day. lol My calculation was off! This is how we encountered quite an irregular problem from the very beginning, but everyone helped us investigate and offered solutions, like taking a plane from Sendai, or going to Shin-Aomori and arriving in Sapporo the next day, or even a ferry. (For a moment, when Tats-san thought about going back to the store and getting a car, I was worried about everyone's bottoms. 16 hours of no-break route searching lol) Among those, arriving in Shakotan on the same day was the best outcome (´；ω；`) Thank you for sticking with us through the difficult journey!
