Is that an emissary from the deep sea???
Hello everyone✌️
Recently, there have been sightings of messengers from the deep sea in various parts of Izu:
"Kiankou (monkfish)," "Ryugu no Tsukai (oarfish)," and "Tengaibata (hatchetfish)"💡
We were at Shizuura Beach, saying, "Wouldn't it be great to see something like that?"

While nudibranchs are currently abundant, we deliberately headed to an isolated reef⛰️

This reef appears at a depth of about 24m.
It somehow has a similar atmosphere to the Hirasawa boat diving point.
Perhaps because not many people visit, the large soft corals are thriving vigorously🥦🥦

It feels like there could be a lot of interesting things if you search carefully,
so it might be good to take it easy and use enriched air![]()
There are also countless schools of small fish, so wide-angle shots are also recommended.

In an area where they sometimes say "there's an anglerfish," we found a large flounder.

And then, something happened just before exiting the water:
The water surface was a bit choppy due to the wind, so be careful as it can be quite shaky...
When I spotted it from a distance, I thought, "A mysterious creature has appeared!!!" but...

When I asked the local service staff, they said it was "probably a baby moray eel."![]()
You're sure to be moved and healed by the crystal-clear water, as beautiful as any resort ocean!
