Hiiiii, hello! This is TAISHIRO☺︎ from the Ishigaki Island store!
Well, today is a day without going to the sea...
During this period, we're doing maintenance that can't be done during the summer high season and preparing for summer!
And right now, I'm working hard on creating a point map so we can use it a lot this summer!
Even if I wanted to show you the creation process, I'm doing it on a computer, and it's surprisingly mundane...
So, today I thought I'd talk about my winter vacation!
I had a vacation in December and January, and I was thinking of going on a day trip to a hot spring somewhere this time 
But...
The strongest cold wave arrived.
The expressways and railways were all closed, so I ended up staying in my hometown of Osaka 
However, it was also a time to rediscover the good things about my hometown!
I went on a nostalgic tour of my hometown 
I woke up in the morning and walked through the shopping street for a while...
This old-fashioned feeling is really nice...
Walked through the shopping street to the shop I was looking for!
This is it!!!
It's the donut shop I've been going to since I was little!
When I was in elementary school, they would be at home as a snack after school...
In high school, I remember buying donuts here with friends after school and talking for hours with canned coffee in hand at the park.
It was a simple and nostalgic taste 
Then, after relaxing at my parents' house, it was already noon!
For lunch, I headed straight to a long-established ramen shop in my hometown!
As you can see.
It's super local, lol.
But this is a super famous ramen shop in my hometown, known to those who know it
Ramen with a refreshing yet rich tonkotsu broth as an accent.
This taste has revived my hangover many times 
The taste hadn't changed!!!
Then, in the evening, I wandered into the downtown area.
Before walking, I had another meal, lol.
There was a ramen shop I'd been curious about and wanted to try!
The duck ramen here has a super gentle flavor!!
Personally, it was a ramen that made me want to go back there if I ever went to Osaka again!
And then a night stroll...
This night view... I often walked here with friends after vocational school for drinks...
And speaking of Osaka, this is the place, right? lol
It's the Dotonbori Glico Sign 
I always walked this road after my part-time job...
The security... it was past 11 PM, so it wasn't that great, lol.
But that's also very Osaka-like, lol.
How many times have I been approached by izakaya touts on this street...
Now it's just a nostalgic memory 
And the Don Quijote with a Ferris wheel, which Ishigaki Island's Don Quijote doesn't have, lol.
Or rather, is Osaka the only place with a Don Quijote that has a Ferris wheel?
If anyone has seen one elsewhere, please let me know!! 
(Of course, I've never ridden it)
And just like that, my winter vacation flew by.
Finally, I left Osaka, seen off by Billiken at Kansai Airport.
This winter vacation was fulfilling, meeting friends and so on...
Osaka will have to wait until next winter again.
I will work hard for summer 2026 again, with safety as my top priority!!
