The beginning of 2026 was a training camp for unlimited diving here, as usual!
Hi everyone! It's Mei! !(^^)!
Today I'm working at the shop. I have a lot to do, but I woke up early this morning and went to get a massage and
had a chiropractic adjustment while discussing future treatment plans.
My body is so stiff that self-stretching just can't keep up.
It's getting cold, and every day I live in fear of throwing out my back. lol
Anyway, the first tour of the New Year is the "Osezaki Unlimited Diving Tour"!
(Though there's a time limit, so it's a maximum of 7 dives)
I observed many creatures, and here are just a few!
(We received many photos again this time! Thank you as always!)

First up is the short-bodied pipefish that wasn't here two weeks ago.

It's super small and so cute ♪

It was a Xanthid crab that Patty found, not on the sandbag where I thought it would be.
It's tiny and very cute.

A fish I saw for the first time, like a dead tree branch.
When I surfaced and asked Inapon, "What is this?!!", he said,
"Oh! That's a Kagoshima scorpionfish!" apparently they show up occasionally.
According to Izusuki Diver, who I always use,
it's a ☆4 rarity that's hard to encounter, so lucky! It was!!
Patty, who found it, is amazing!!! lol
(When I saw it, I thought, "Wow, never seen that before! But its face is a bit ugly for a fish." lol)

And Patty reached 900 dives on the first dive of 2026~!!
Congratulations~!! But for 800 dives, I was nursing a broken bone, but I had participated in all the commemorative dives so far, and
I thought, "I have to heal this quickly and go diving!" so I participated in June...?
I checked and found that she celebrated her 800th dive on 2025/6/22, so she did 100 dives in 195 days. Amazing. lol
Thank you always~!
Alright, from here on, I'll introduce a bunch of creatures in no particular order!

Probably a type of flounder.

A rustic goby with cute whiskers.

This season's first yellow sea slug.

A three-spot damselfish, perfectly posed with cute, round eyes.

A John Dory, getting super close?!

An octopus nicely settled in a shell.
And we also did Night Diving this time!!
Even Zukki, who had disliked night dives since her AOW course, reluctantly participated this time (because it was an all-you-can-dive tour). lol

Ose's night dives have lots of crustaceans.

A type of gazami crab.

Is this a tiny hermit crab?
The shell it was carrying was about 7-8mm, lol.

And this time too, we met a juvenile of the Searobin family!!
It's not black yet, and its body color resembles the floating individual I saw the other day, so could it be an individual that just settled?!

Its face also looks younger compared to the previous fly larva,
It's nice to see these differences when you dive continuously~
Ose is really amazing.
And when Zukki, who had reluctantly gone night diving, surfaced, he said,
"Night diving was fun!!" So I win, lol.
He regretted not diving before, just a little, so from now on, I'll take him without question♪

Of course, we started early the next morning too!
We ventured a little further to the Mambomae.
Our goal was...

The tiny, cute Goby in a Bottle at about 10m depth!!

Why is it in such shallow water?! And it lives in a nice house, doesn't it?!

I thought there wouldn't be many people early in the morning, and I was right!!
But I don't go there often, so I mistook the no-diving marker,
and the diver who was already photographing the Goby taught me, "No, not there!" 💦
Everyone was searching for different things, so I'm truly sorry, and thank you!

Such a small Pinecone fish and

Hmm, what kind of scorpionfish juvenile is this??

A Longnose pipefish that we've been observing for a long time.

The Hairy Crab, which I saw once a long time ago and hadn't been able to find since.
I couldn't remember its name immediately, so I went and asked my fluffy friends, "What is this fluffy crab?!"

Ah! Zukki found the blenny I first saw in Kashiwajima and thought was cute!
It's a Matsuba blenny.

You can see them during your safety stop, so I'll try to find them again next time.

And just like that, we thoroughly enjoyed 7 DIVEs over two days~♡

The difficult adjustments for 1000 dives have begun... lol
Everyone, you won't be able to see me so easily in 2026 lol
Also, the other day
A wonderful gift arrived from the Ishigaki store♡
Thank you! I'll wear it with care♪
Alright, I'm going to dive a lot this year too!
