Kashiwajima Tour - Final Day! Caught up in a fight between Happy Boy and a monkey, then the plane was delayed after fighting birds?!
Good evening everyone! This is Mei ・:*+.\(( °ω° ))/.:+ I still have so much more I want to write and photos I want to share, but today is the last day of the Kashiwajima tour blog ✌︎ The last day was sightseeing towards Ehime! We flew into Kochi Airport but are flying out of Matsuyama Airport, so we packed in sightseeing in two prefectures! First, after breakfast, we followed Peace and Happy on their walk and visited a shrine.
There's a Japanese fig tree here as a power spot.
It was incredibly cool! It seems it came from Hachijojima a long time ago 😮
We took a walk to the port where the boat was docked. It's less than a 5-minute walk from AQUAS! And! On the last day, the 17th,
The celebration boy's birthday was actually today!!! 300 dives and a birthday, how amazing! (We only found out about the 300 dives at the last minute and were in a panic 😂)
Kana-chan's surprise gift was a success (^-^)v She lied that the fins he planned to buy were out of stock and gave them as a present. He apparently thought, "No stock? That's strange..." lol
And then it was time to say goodbye 😭 Thank you so much for everything over the past three days, from diving to meals! Thank you, Peace and Happy, for playing with us so much 😭 I want to come again next year, so I'll participate in the reservation battle in January! (AQUAS accepts reservations for the entire year starting from a specific day each year.) After departing, we wanted to take one last look at Kashiwajima from a high vantage point, so
We climbed up a rather steep path.
The wooden sticks were slippery and dangerous, so I threw them to the side as I went up, but was everyone else okay? (I, on the other hand, forgot my shoes at AQUAS and was wearing gyosan 😂 They put them in a mesh bag for me.)
After all that effort, this amazing view awaited us! You can see all of Kashiwajima!
We took a commemorative photo with the flag we brought all the way from Tokyo 📸 This is such a great memory!
When we returned to the parking lot, there were tons of monkeys! This one was particularly big, probably the boss... but Zukky got too close and was chased, and I got caught up in it too!! 😫 lol If it had been serious, I probably would have been scratched 😰 But still, those nipples were like chili peppers...🤣
Afterwards, we stopped at various michi no eki (roadside stations). My favorite was this crepe! It was incredibly delicious! Maybe the best ever...! I had the sugar butter first, but I wanted to try others so badly that Patty bought me the persimmon and fig one, and I ate half... no, two-thirds of it...🤣 Thank you very much 😋 HAPPYBOY seemed to be having fun scattering kinako powder, but I made him look sad for the photo lol
We also went to an "instagrammable" station! A train even arrived at the perfect time!
The last michi no eki we stopped at was by the sea and had a really nice atmosphere, so I became an annoying photographer and had some fun. I think I got some good shots.
Then we headed to the airport early, thinking we'd buy some last souvenirs. At this point, no one knew about the troubles that lay ahead...
After returning the rental car and getting back to the airport, we rushed through security and then waited inside. Then an announcement came that there was a 1-hour delay due to aircraft trouble...
And then we found out it was a bird strike, causing a delay of over 3 hours 😱 In the end, we made it back to Tokyo after a delay of over 3 and a half hours (^◇^;) I was so exhausted at the very end 💦
Since we were at the very back upon landing at Haneda, I watched the oranges going out before us, and it was good that everyone was able to return safely and without rushing because of the taxi arrangements due to the delay ^^ And here's a short video summary. https://youtu.be/LsnDI2LHlOE?si=rwo7FFBflDb1_9l6 The four days were incredibly fulfilling and truly an amazing tour! To everyone who participated in the Kashiwajima tour, thank you very much! Let's continue to hone our skills and camera techniques! And let's go to Kashiwajima again! There were some people who couldn't make it this time, so I'd like to hold the tour again next year! Although it's a difficult place to access individually, a truly wonderful ocean awaits! If you love marine life and macro photography, it's a sea you must visit at least once. We look forward to your participation and inquiries!
See you again!!
You're sure to be moved and healed by the transparent waters that rival resort seas!
