First, greetings from the precious Daruma Ponta, who only comes out a few times a year 🎍
I finally went to the ocean at the end of the year, for the first time since Yugawara closed.
And there, I saw...

It was so good at hiding that I almost swam past it, but a customer spotted it for me! 💦💦💦💦
Ragged scorpionfish appeared quite often in 2024, but they are a pretty rare species ✂️
Since the number of divers decreases in this season compared to summer, it's a great opportunity for careful observation when they appear.
There was a blog post a few days ago saying it was still in Kawana, so it seems to have made it through the year safely.
The visibility is good, and rare creatures are appearing.
