I went on a trip to Oshima! Day 2
Hello
I'm Mi-man.
Today's blog is a continuation of the Oshima tour ![]()
The early morning dive was the main event of this trip! I want to see hammerheads ![]()
So, we woke up at 3:30 AM for the early morning dive ![]()
Hammerheads apparently come out early in the morning. So, if they pass by, they won't come back, making morning the right time.
So, off to Keikai! ![]()
We entered the water with the sunrise at 4:30 AM ![]()
Swim to a place where there's a chance to encounter hammerheads!

Found a good reef.
Good, good. There's a decent distance from our neighbors.
Waiting here.
Waiting!!
Waiting!!
Wai....
WAIT....
Ugh ![]()
Ugh ![]()
No luck....
So sad....
Darn it. The ocean is alive, so it can't be helped... but I really wanted to show you.
I'll try again, so please join us!
For the optional dive, we went to O no Hama!
Turtles made frequent appearances this time ![]()

The sea conditions were good this time, so we were able to dive at 5 different points ![]()
Now, after lunch, we're off on a sightseeing drive ![]()

This is actually where I most wanted to go!
The Great Oshima Cross-Section!
The strata are amazing, you know. You can tell just by looking (lol)

A group photo ![]()
We also stopped at
Habu Port (no photo lol)
and finally, here, Fudejima.

It must be very large, but it's impressive how it stands out like a dot.
This was also formed during a volcanic eruption.
We all did the Fudejima pose (lol) Can you tell? ![]()
The two days flew by.
Thank you to the two people who used this tour to celebrate, the person on a revenge tour, and the person on their first island tour for joining us! ![]()
The flow of time and the atmosphere of the island are different from the Izu Peninsula.
There are still many seas I want to guide you to!
Summer is almost here
Are you ready to have fun?!!!
You're sure to be moved and healed by the clear waters that rival resort oceans!
