The winter Oshima training camp tour was 7 dives in 2 days! ✌️ Next time let's do some sightseeing! lol
Hello everyone! It's Mei \\\\٩( 'ω' )و //// I'm out at sea again today! I'm dragging Taishiro to Osezaki under the guise of "Tokyo Branch Training." He's accompanied by strong Izu divers who have been brainwashed by my personal bias and prejudice into thinking, "Osezaki is the best!" lol Now, I'd like to conclude the tour blog with the second day of the Oshima tour and photos from everyone.
Day two started with an early morning dive. The sun hadn't fully risen yet, so the water was a bit dim. The fish were more relaxed than usual.
When the sun rose, the weather was good again on the second day, with perfect sunbeams in the beautiful sea.
From tiny creatures like the Rouge Minou Nudibranch and
Leaf Porter Crab,
we also saw many turtles!
A great shot taken right from below ♪
Wow! Where did they see the Igaguri Nudibranch? It's always true that guests find cool stuff when searching freely lol
Is this really big one a Japanese amberjack or a yellowtail? After researching, it's probably a yellowtail!
We also saw many frogfish this time! Kimaty found a black Painted Frogfish!! It's amazing to find such a popular creature!
And then in the water, I thought it was a Oomon... but when I looked at the picture, it was a Shaggy Frogfish!! This one usually lives in deeper water and isn't very numerous, I think. I've only seen it on boat dives in Ito.
Even at a depth of 25m, it was bright and truly a refreshing sea! We dove a lot and couldn't do any sightseeing on Oshima, and the return boat was barely caught, but thank you everyone for participating! Next time, let's go sightseeing on Oshima too!
