My Okinawa business trip was fun again this time, as I got to see happy-looking students.
Good evening, everyone! It's Mei!\\\\٩( 'ω' )و //// The last high school course for this academic year has concluded! This was the first time we held an ocean course in March for this school, but they were all such good kids. The numbers were a bit low, but every student in the class passed on their first try, which is a great achievement 🤣 lol I guess I've also gotten better at speaking, but it's really nice as an instructor not to have any retakes 🥰
And they're an all-girls school! It's so much fun hearing them giggle while putting on their wetsuits. They're such cute girls who listen intently during explanations.
Our cute newcomer Taishiro (is he still a newcomer?) is also working hard on his own! 🥹
Apologies, no ocean photos from day 1... Everyone was desperately working on their skills, trying not to push themselves too hard. For those who were a bit anxious, we had specialists waiting on the surface to provide individual coaching 💪 We divided up the work to ensure everyone could enjoy themselves safely!
There was one student who wasn't afraid of the water but couldn't equalize her ears at all and was in pain, unable to dive. But with Tassan's help, she was swimming happily in no time! 😭
On the second day, it was a vertical descent, so even if ear equalization didn't go perfectly, it was fine! The surface team nearby helped out, and by descending slowly, she was able to dive on her own!
Whether they fought off a bit of fear and worked hard, or thoroughly enjoyed the diving experience, everyone ended up with smiles, so it was a success! We have a shop in Ikebukuro, so if you ever want to dive again when you're older, please come visit us! Bonus
As usual, we go all out when we drink, but this time it was quite a mess with everyone getting super drunk... However, since no one was "dead" from a hangover, I somehow felt a sense of growth 🥹 But did we really grow? Or is it just old age, meaning we can't drink as much anymore? I wonder how long I can keep up. (This time, the after-party started at 8 PM, and the third and final venue with Tassan, Sho-kun, Susumu-san, and Katsu-kun disbanded after 4 AM lol)
This is for the very small number of fans who enjoy Tassan's drunken stories. On the last day, we were supposed to meet at 7:30 AM to put away the equipment. I barely slept and woke up with sheer willpower to meet, and Tassan said, "I'm not hungover today." Huh? What is he talking about?? I tried to suppress my feelings (but didn't really), and I "kindly" snapped told him, "You were drinking until 4 AM, so the hangover hasn't kicked in yet. You're still drunk." lol This is why I can't stop going to drinking parties. Thanks for always providing entertaining stories. Responsible: Matsumoto Mei ✌︎('ω'✌︎ )
You'll definitely be moved and soothed by the crystal-clear waters, rivalling even resort oceans!
