Let's enjoy diving even more!
As is true with any hobby, the better you get at diving, the more you will enjoy this sport.
Many possibilities open up, such as being able to dive at more locations, or expanding your range of enjoyment by broadening the activities you do at the same location!
The Step-Up Course expands the range of diving activities you can enjoy. We want you to truly improve and enjoy diving from the bottom of your heart!
You can practice to your heart's content in small groups without worrying about others, so you won't have to think, "I'm still a bit unsure" or "I want to practice a little more!"
At our Cebu store, you can acquire various specialties that are also introduced in our advanced courses. Furthermore, at our Cebu store, we always have enriched air cylinders available, so you can also obtain a specialty certification for enriched air. By practicing various skills while having fun, your abilities are sure to improve.
Enriched air is a cutting-edge technology that expands the limits of your no-decompression dive time. When diving with enriched air, using an enriched air-compatible dive computer for multi-level dives allows for more bottom time compared to diving with regular air. This is particularly well-suited for dives between 15 and 30 meters. It's the perfect course for divers who want to leisurely observe marine life or take underwater photos.
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to extend your no-decompression limits by using enriched air, allowing you to thoroughly enjoy underwater photography and observing marine life.
While there are two ways to enter the water for diving—"beach entry" and "boat entry"—many diving spots in resorts require boat entry. Even within boat entry, there are various types of boats, such as traditional Japanese boats, cruisers, and inflatable boats. This course teaches boat entry and exit methods, equipment organization, and seasickness prevention, so you can enjoy boat diving without panicking in any situation.
Upon completing this course, you will acquire boat diving techniques, be able to safely dive in areas only accessible by boat, and be able to exchange information with other divers on the same boat.
Accurate underwater navigation allows you to easily travel the shortest route to your destination and, in the event that you become disoriented underwater, you can remain calm and act deliberately. In the Open Water Diver Course, you learn to navigate using a compass in a straight line, but in this course, you will also experience navigation patterns such as triangles and squares, and learn natural navigation by identifying natural landmarks.
Upon completing the course, you will be able to orient yourself underwater, acquire the skills to reliably reach your destination in a short distance, and plan dives more effectively. Wreck and cave diving will also become safer.
For divers, "diving deep" does not necessarily equate to "diving skill," but many dive sites have attractions below 18m, including soft coral gardens, the "Grand Bleu" world where sunlight doesn't reach, shipwrecks, and caves, all of which ignite a diver's curiosity.
Upon completing the course, you will acquire deep diving knowledge and techniques. You will master safe diving techniques for depths beyond 18m. You will gain an understanding of the underwater environment beyond 18m.
You can obtain licenses such as Rescue Diver, which allows you to become a more advanced diver, or Divemaster, which qualifies you as a professional. The First Aid course, which is also required for Rescue Divers, is a course that enables you to respond even if someone close to you suddenly falls ill, and it can be taken by non-divers as well.
What would you do if a close friend or family member suddenly collapsed or was involved in an accident? The patient's subsequent condition can be significantly impacted by how appropriately they are treated in the time before an ambulance arrives. To protect your loved ones, it's wise to learn proper emergency care techniques. Emergency First Response is a program that teaches both life-threatening emergency care (Primary Care) such as cardiac arrest, and care for injuries and illnesses that are not immediately life-threatening (Secondary Care).
When diving, playing in the great outdoors, you may sometimes encounter unexpected accidents. Often, minor incidents can lead to major problems. For example, you might accidentally swallow water on the surface and panic, or get your scuba gear caught while entering the water or moving underwater, leaving you unable to move. Small troubles that could be quickly resolved with a calm response can instantly escalate from stress to anxiety and then to panic. The Rescue Diver course teaches you the knowledge to deal with such troubles immediately, the ability to prevent troubles from happening, and even life-saving methods in the event of an accident.
"Upon completing the course," you will acquire the ability to prevent troubles before they occur. You will be able to perform first aid in emergencies. Your own safety will increase. Your awareness of caring for other divers will increase. You will learn how to rescue injured divers and life-saving methods in the event of an accident. You will master underwater search methods.
