Erratic typhoon

Today's Conditions in Cebu

There's a legend that it never rains on Sinulog Day.

I thought it would surely rain because Typhoon No. 1 had formed,

but it didn't disappoint,

and we've been enjoying good weather since morning.

Impressive, indeed.

The introductory dive, which was originally scheduled for yesterday, had to be postponed until today due to me feeling unwell.

It turned out to be the right decision.

It was my first time, so I was a little nervous,

but with one-on-one instruction, I was properly guided.

Because I breathe through my nose,

a little water got into my mask,

but I practiced mask clearing many times and got better at it.

Since there were many snorkelers,

we changed the spot a little.

It was great to dive when no one else was around,

but then fish started coming in droves,

and I couldn't see anything...

The sea was beautiful with the sunlight streaming in.
