Cebu's Condition Today

With the north wind blowing, I can really feel this season.

The temperature is around 23-29 degrees Celsius, and it's much cooler and more comfortable in the mornings and evenings.

 

It gets cold when you get on the boat, so a jacket is essential.

 

Yesterday, I attended the wedding of the daughter of Noel, a former staff member who used to work for us as a divemaster.

The church behind Seaside is beautiful and has air conditioning.

Normally I'd be sweating, but it was almost chilly...

When she was little, I used to see her at Christmas parties and such,

but she grew up in the blink of an eye.

She's almost the same age as my kids, so that's to be expected.

 

 

The reception was held at the Bayfront Hotel's venue,

and it was super gorgeous, just like when Recchi got married.

Before it started, at the entrance, there was

a corner where you could choose a souvenir and have your name put on it,

and a photo booth.

You could eat freshly made french fries,

and there was even a coffee corner serving properly brewed coffee, so the waiting time flew by...

I was really hungry,

but since it was Filipino food, I ate what I could.

With the time to pin money on the couple and various other things, three hours passed in a flash...

 

 

I also received a lovely set as a favor, and I feel like I shared in a lot of happiness.

I think there were close to 200 people, but I was the only Japanese person there...
