Cebu's Condition Today

It's a refreshing and pleasant morning.

Since last week, many people have gathered in Cebu, and it's been a whirlwind.

The reason is,

My second son Reti's wedding was held yesterday!

Relatives gathered from Japan, America, UK, and Cebu, totaling over 100 people.

First, the day before, relatives had lunch at the shop.

An unusually large number of people gathered.

 

Since several relatives are cooks,

Seafood, soup, stir-fried vegetables, Kinilaw.

A spread of Filipino dishes...

The wedding venue was the garden by the sea at Savoy Hotel.

Since it was from the evening,

 

I was worried about the weather,

But thankfully, it turned out well.

After a long-distance relationship between Japan and Cebu, Philippines, due to COVID,

They finally got married successfully.

There will be many things to come,

But I'm sure they'll be fine together.

I guess my role as a parent is slowly coming to an end.

My friend who lives in Bohol,

who I've known since my Saipan days,

also came to celebrate,

which made me very happy.

I'm grateful to be watched over by people who know half of our life story.
