Cebu conditions today

With typhoons and low-pressure systems forming one after another recently...

It rains frequently,

even though May usually isn't a rainy month.

So the water temperature isn't very high yet,

maybe in the high 28s?

It's not cold, though.

Today is Mother's Day,

so

I received emails from my son and relatives in Japan since the morning,

and my daughter Ruri invited me out, so I went to Cebu.

Ruri, who is at an age where she often gets facials, also came with me this time.

Did we both come out feeling refreshed and glowing?

After that,

for lunch, I requested Chinese food and ate that.

The shrimp were plump and delicious.

After that, of course, we went to a cafe.

We had matcha and matcha cheesecake.

Since we were full,

on the way home,

we went to offer flowers at Roni's mother's grave.

It had been a while since I'd visited because I was so busy.

Then, when I got home,

a gift had arrived from Reti's wife!

It really was such a happy day.

I truly felt that

all the hard work of raising children

had paid off.
