Today's conditions in Cebu
As expected,
a tropical depression has formed again to the northeast of Cebu.
The wind has already picked up today, and there are whitecaps on the waves...
Tomorrow seems to be the peak.
I also received an email from the consulate.
I can only hope there's no damage.
One of the reasons for returning to Japan is to have a medical check-up,
so I went first thing in the morning to line up
but then a minor issue came up and they initially told me I couldn't be examined....
I had arranged my whole schedule around this day, so my mind went blank, but
they managed to make it work for me.
After that, I went to the city hall, and then to Nishikawaguchi again to pick up some documents.
I'm still walking a lot every day, as usual.
Because I was having a gastrocamera,
I couldn't eat much yesterday,
and even after it was over, the anesthesia made me lose my appetite...
Finally, in the afternoon, I had some bread.
My favorite is the salt butter red bean paste bread from the bakery near the station.
These round ones are also
fluffy,
and make me feel happy~
The moderate sweetness is superb.
Then I went to Ebisu to get new glasses.

It's amazing that they can be made in an hour.
In Japan, the procedures are well-established, so there's no wasted time.
I'd like to learn from that.
Just now,
I suddenly craved roasted sweet potatoes,
so I went to a nearby shop,
but they didn't have any,
so I got dried sweet potatoes and my beloved sweet chestnuts~
Japan is indeed full of delicious food.
Starting tomorrow, I'll be going to Okinawa to help out.
It's probably my first time in Okinawa in about 30 years,
so I'm really looking forward to it!
