Two-Day West Izu Tour ~Day 2~ From the 3rd to the 4th Generation

Mei here ･:*+.\(( °ω° ))/.:+ Today's post is about the second day of our overnight tour. On the second day, under a clear sky, we went to Tago! The outside was rough due to the wind, but we enjoyed ourselves in the bay! The surface was pure white from the rain during the night. That's right. Because it was like this in the morning 😂 The sound of the rain was so loud that it woke me up, and there was a very close lightning strike that shook the ground 😅 It kept striking after that, but I couldn't fight off sleep and went back to bed, lol. While fighting sleep, I kept checking the radar. "Wow, that's amazing! It's a linear rainband straight out of a picture!" My memory cuts off there until morning. The rain stopped, and by the time we left the inn, it was a perfectly clear sky ☀️ At Shirasaki on the first dive, I found a hole with five clear cleaner shrimps. But the only customer for cleaning was a tiger-tail sea cucumber. It was deserted. At the boundary with the sandy bottom, there was a tiny goby, less than 2cm. Is it a Red-Spotted Goby? A big fish that didn't run away even when approached. After that, I found a colorful version of my favorite Himeoomiami and took a burst of photos. I'm satisfied that I managed to capture this with my TG camera. Most others were like this. They move a lot and are small, so it's tiring, but everyone should give it a try ♡ For the second dive, we went to Tono-shima. When we entered via a deep, large buoy, https://youtu.be/6pbSpbGK-hI?si=3Jf1IyRBo9zWk-_s schools of Japanese pilchard of various sizes, from tiny to large, welcomed us. They were sparkling and looked great~ Occasionally, young yellowtail (small yellowtail amberjack) would come by, but it felt more like they were just hanging around than attacking. Here, Miiman newly discovered a Giant Frogfish. Since it's a consistently black, plain fellow, pay attention to its eyes 👀 For the third dive, it was "if anyone wants to go, let's go~" with the usual members, lol. We went to the same spot for the third dive in Tago last year too, didn't we? "That was fun too~" we said as we entered. This spot is shallower and brighter because the light comes in. There are lots of Japanese pilchard here, and amberjack attack them! While the amberjack were doing their thing, I was completely absorbed by the Red-striped Goby!!! It's been a while~ As I watched the Tiger Pistol Shrimp frantically digging sand, I wondered, is something moving nearby? It's the Steinitz's Goby that I put in the video. It was too small to photograph. It was probably a tiny individual about 1cm long, but it had a Steinitz's Pistol Shrimp (also tiny) with it, and it was incredibly cute~ Oh, the mouth of the Lizardfish had some kind of membrane that fluttered, and I thought it was cute, so I included it. Doesn't it look like it's saying "Mmm, mmm, mmm♪" 😂 And so, we safely enjoyed two days like this! Overnight tours are really great, aren't they?
