Invite your friends from your intro dive to come for the OW course!!
Hello everyone! This is Mei ・:*+.\(( °ω° ))/.:+ I recently went to an OW course! It was a super delightful situation where someone who came for a discovery diving experience last month invited their colleagues who were interested in diving to join them. 🥰 Since it was held on a weekday, the ocean was uncrowded and comfortable.
Since it had been a while since they were in the ocean, we started with a thorough water familiarization. There were many fish at the boundary with the outside, so the two animal lovers seemed to enjoy themselves and relax.^^
After practicing skills in the shallow area, we went to the deeper area to check ear equalization. As we slowly proceeded, one of them seemed to be struggling 😢 After trying various things, I realized she felt a sharp pain in her forehead underwater 😣, which meant her sinusitis was not clearing properly. Fortunately, she was fine up to 6M, so we quickly finished the skills and practiced swimming while moving to the shallow area ✌️ We successfully completed 2 dives, so day one was over.
For dinner, we went to "en," a restaurant I recently discovered and mentioned to them when they came to the shop to register and we talked about allergies! And this is just the appetizer!🤣 We have an overnight tour to go here again next month, so if you're interested, please inquire! We ate delicious food, chatted a lot, and warmed up thoroughly in the bath before going to bed that night 😴
Day 2 started with compass practice! It was great that ear equalization went smoothly without any problems today! 😭 At first, we had a slight difference of opinion, but then we corrected it and successfully reached our destination. After that, we practiced neutral buoyancy and swimming by going through hoops.
There were damselfish schools everywhere off the headland today. At this time, about three small schools merged into a large one!
At one point, the school came between the two of them and me, so I literally couldn't see them 🤣 It's helpful to have marine life as a guide during courses, making it fun to float or realize you've floated too high! ⭐︎
For the fourth dive, we had completed all the skills, so we focused entirely on practicing neutral buoyancy and swimming, entering from the east side! And from the floating pier with a giant stride!
Both of them got progressively better at buoyancy control, swimming, and posture! 🤩 Even if they floated up a bit, they could come back down and got closer to the optimal weight♪
And of course, they passed their OW certification! 🥰 They are very interested in marine life, so let's definitely go see many different creatures from now on! That's all for today! Responsible staff: Matsumoto Mei ✌︎('ω'✌︎ )
You'll be amazed and soothed by the clear waters that rival resort oceans!
