All my business trips to Kyoto for the year have safely concluded! Good work, everyone!
Good evening, everyone! Mei here ('◇')ゞ I'm working at the shop this weekend, so I was hoping to finish the PC work I've been buried under, but it's not going as smoothly as I thought, and I'm totally panicking. On top of that, I have an OW course from tomorrow for Monday and Tuesday, so no working from home either. But someone who came for a trial dive the other day is bringing their friends, which is such great news ♡ I'll make sure to teach the course thoroughly, and then I'll try to get some work done during my free time in the evening! So, the beginning of October kicked off with our annual high school student course in Kyoto ✌
First, we had an amazing donburi at Kariya SA.
I devoured some hyper-calorie bomb fries with mentaiko mayo and mentaiko on top, then headed to Fukui. The first day was a travel day, so after dinner at the inn, everyone drank and had fun with the leftover shochu they brought, and eventually I had a bit of a fight with a drunk Hara-san, haha. Since nothing gets resolved when you're drunk, we broke up and I went for a little walk outside, and guess what?
The stars were amazing!! I could see so many! It was cold because I was wearing a yukata, but I watched with a constellation app and then forgot what I saw, haha. But the cluster of stars a little to the right of the center is probably the Pleiades star cluster, right?
It was cold, so I turned towards the inn, and there it was, Cygnus! I looked at the app again and saw the Summer Triangle. Taking pictures handheld only makes them blurry~ The first one I took leaning on the railing came out beautifully, haha. But with this many shots, an iPhone is definitely enough! 
And this year, we were blessed with great weather and sea conditions, so we were able to conduct the course in incredibly clear water! In fact, it was much clearer and warmer than Izu this summer... haha. It's good that all the participating students passed without injury and seemed to have fun! Well, it's getting a little late, so that's all for today. I'm off to teach the course starting tomorrow!!
