The annual business trip season has started again this year!

June means business trips to Kyoto. And this year, it's lively high school students again.
I'm leaving tomorrow for the second trip. I have to cram knowledge into them for the actual test next week,
so the second training session will be a lot of talking and a tough week. But,
after the first week, my eyes got conjunctivitis, my throat got a cold? My nose is so stuffy I feel like I'm dying, haha.
I had no choice but to wear glasses (my ears hurt too much). I went to the ophthalmologist, and two types of eye drops have calmed it down.
As for the cold, I'm eating a lot, sleeping, and trying to cure it with sheer willpower.
The Matsumoto Kiyoshi brand blueberry throat lozenges are delicious 😋
Last week, I departed on the day of a typhoon, but nothing too bad happened.
I arrived in Kyoto incredibly early (we met in Shibuya at 6:30 and I was in Kyoto around 13:00, haha),
so I visited temples I hadn't been to before.
This is supposedly the oldest temple in Japan, [Koryu-ji], but it doesn't seem very popular...? Haha.
On my way to the next place, I saw a streetcar. There were no railroad crossings,
and the car roads had curves, so the rules were a mystery. I wonder if there are no accidents with rental cars? 💦
I also went to Tenryu-ji Temple.
It's famous for its Hatto (Dharma Hall), where there's a painting of a dragon on the ceiling called Ryūunzu, whose eyes seem to follow you no matter where you look.
However, the public viewing days are fixed, and this day wasn't one of them, so I didn't get to see it.
I took a stroll around the garden instead.
It must be a truly beautiful garden usually...
The typhoon and rain had made the pond murky~
But the azaleas were in full bloom, so they were blooming beautifully everywhere ^^
Alright, I'll do my best for the second training session too!
