It was a day of intense wind and rain after a long time, but we all had fun diving.

I'll leave the Mikomoto blog to Tatsu-san, and here's a look at the ocean from yesterday＾＾
Unfortunately, it was windy yesterday...
It was a jam-packed day with a camera tour, a beginner tour, a boat tour, and a last-minute discovery diving experience 😂 lol
Unfortunately, the boat tour was cancelled for safety reasons, so we joined the beginner tour instead.
One of the beginners was a fresh university student who got her license last year during our annual OW training in Kyoto! She made the special trip all the way to Tokyo to visit us 😭
How wonderful! 🥹 She had been looking forward to it since her lessons,
and she swam freely with Tatsu-san's team in the ocean, didn't she? ✌️
The seas of Fukui and Izu are completely different, and all the creatures we saw were brand new, so
I introduced a lot of them!
It seems they hatched a little while ago, so there weren't many fathers with full mouths~
But the females looked like their bellies were full,
so maybe another spawning season is coming soon~?
We went looking for turtles but they weren't there 🥲
But I saw a delicious-looking, big flounder~!
She's into fishing, so she was very interested and seemed to have a lot of fun 😆
The small moss blenny was the first small creature she encountered,
and she didn't seem to recognize it at first, but it was good that she eventually did.
We also saw the psychedelic frogfish that Udayan from the camera team found on the first dive!
It's a creature with a strange shape, isn't it? Lol
We also observed a cute juvenile filefish.
It hides among the swaying seaweed, so the master struggled with the photos 😰
I wonder if he managed to get some good shots 😂
There were also many schools of fish, so here's a short video.
I really enjoy watching overturned red sea stars, and I often ask to see them,
but this one was quite quick~ It turned over quickly once it started bending its arms backwards. Very strong. So, muscles mean strength, I guess...
The tiger grouper attacking the school of damselfish was also good~
Tokky was in a great position where the school of fish headed! 🤩
It's a shame the boat tour was canceled for the two of them, but they'll try again next time! 🥹

To come all the way to Tokyo alone and go diving for the first time,
I teach so many people every year, hoping that a few of them will dive again in the future,
and then someone actually comes back the next year 😭
