Sudden downpour and our easily startled dog

Wow, yesterday's rain was incredible💦
A huge rain cloud passed right over us,
It was like a scene from a movie where UFOs come to invade Earth.
The thunder was so loud, and our resident scaredy-cat...
made an emergency escape to the bathroom, which he hates!
He seemed anxious all night, going in and out of various rooms,
and the clatter of his claws kept me from sleeping 😢
Well, it was a really heavy rain like this after all☔
Due to that weather, the Blue Impulse display flight practice today, scheduled for the World Athletics Championships, was cancelled.
Tomorrow is the main event, so if you look up at the sky around noon, you might see the aircraft.
