I think green is a good color. But I just can't bring myself to like you...
Good evening everyone! It's Mei ・:*+.\(( °ω° ))/.:+ This winter, I'll be participating in underwater work several times. It seems there are many ships waiting to be cleaned because of a strike around the end of the year, lol. The last ship was the biggest one yet. The person in charge from their side was also new, and they wanted to finish it in 4 days, but couldn't.😅 We ended up using all the reserve days and barely finished... or something like that.
We cleaned the sides of the ship and the usual parts, but this time, for the first time, we also cleaned around the propeller and the rudder! Well, since the ship is huge, the parts are also huge and the area is wide! The white parts are where barnacles and other things were attached. We have to scrape all of them off!!
Barnacles are fine. They're the usual. But this time, there were tons of tough shells here~😭 We called them "green mussels," but I heard they're actually "green mussels." I heard that those cultivated in beautiful waters in places like New Zealand are edible... but the ones in Yokohama's sea are definitely bad for your health. First of all, the seawater in this port tastes terrible 🤮 lol. So, we took this rudder TOP, which was thick with shells
and scraped, peeled, and ripped them off until the bolts were visible! It was really tough because the bolts got in the way and I couldn't scrape them off all at once with a spatula. In fact, I couldn't even tell there were bolts there at first, so I hit the bolts several times😅 Once I finished one spot, there were three of these rudders. On both sides. (Which means six). It was an endless battle, but somehow we managed to finish them all. What's attached to the ships differs, so I wonder what will be on the next ship~ I think I'm good on green mussels for a while...🤣 I'll do my best next time too!!

You'll definitely be moved and healed by the crystal-clear waters, which are just as beautiful as resort seas!
